What does Waiver of Compensation mean in the Motor Liability Guarantee?
Waiver of compensation is an additional condition of the Motor TPL guarantee, which entitles the Company to waive or limit the right to compensation in the event of an accident due to misconduct.
This additional condition is valid only for the first claim occurring during the effects of the policy to cover the following cases:
- driving under the influence of alcohol or under the influence of narcotic or psychotropic substances;
- accidents caused by vehicle not in compliance with the circulation rules;
- damages suffered by those transported on the vehicle, if the transport is not carried out in accordance with the provisions in force;
- damage caused by novice drivers with a license obtained for less than 1 year and a vehicle with power exceeding the permitted level.

Attention: if the Expert Guide has been chosen, the Company always and in any case applies compensation in the event of an accident caused by a driver under the age of 23, over the age of 75 and/or with a license obtained for less than 2 years.
